.....I loved sports at an early age. Basketball, football and
track and field were my favorites. I was tall and skinny but extremely athletic
in elementary school. I started lifting weights in seventh grade. My
motivation was to become a better athlete. In high school, I played football
and was a member of the track team in which I ran the 200 and 400 meter races.
Always being very active, I remember weighing 176 pounds throughout my high
school years. I then continued working out after graduation and weightlifting
became a part of my lifestyle. This lead me to start competing in bodybuilding
when I was 20 years old.
.....My interest in health and fitness led me to study sport
nutrition at the University of Wisconsin. I received a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Nutritional Science and Dietetics. I was now a Registered Dietitian
and pursued a career in the fitness industry by moving to Florida. Working out
and personal training became a way of life. I regularly competed in
weightlifting and bodybuilding competitions. My most notable bodybuilding
victories include the 1998 Mr. Jacksonville and 2001 Mr. East Coast. In power lifting, I hold an APA world record 645# dead lift at a
bodyweight of 198#.
I proudly own a personal training and nutritional consulting
business with offices in Atlanta, Georgia and Orlando, Florida. Motivating and
teaching others how to achieve their fitness goals through balanced nutrition
and regular exercise. Reach your goals by making health and fitness a part of
your lifestyle.
